Ms. Carmen Rodríguez-Oller joined FTMR as a Special Counsel in 2008. Ms.Rodríguez-Oller obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico (1970), and has graduate studies in business, marketing and journalism from the University of Puerto Rico Graduate School of Business Administration and the Graduate School of Communications. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Interamerican University School of (2006), and is admitted to practice before the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
For the past 25 years, Ms. Rodriguez-Oller has served in leadership positions in the board of directors of multiple professional associations as well as non-profit community organizations, in which her volunteer work extended to the areas of fundraising and event planning, public relations, marketing, as well as in the nonprofit special areas of services and administration. At present she serves on the board of directors of “Niños de Nueva Esperanza Project” in Sabana Seca, and is president of the board of directors of “Fundación Rafael Oller”.
Professionally, Ms. Rodríguez-Oller has worked in the areas of communications, advertising, market research, interior design, and the media and entertainment industries.
Her areas of practice are entertainment law, including music, advertising, media and the arts, and general corporate law.
