Mrs. Becky M. López Freytes joined FTMR as Special Counsel in 2008. Mrs. López Freytes obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois (1998). She attended the University of Puerto Rico Law School where she obtained a Cum Laude in her Juris Doctor (2001).
Mrs. López Freytes is admitted to practice before the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association. Mrs. López Freytes’s main areas of practice are real estate and corporate law as well as banking and regulatory law. Before joining FTMR, Mrs. López Freytes worked as Vice-President and Assistant General Counsel for a publicly traded financial institution for over 5 years. Mrs. López Freytes also worked as a law clerk at various metro area law firms as well as for the Federal District Court.
