Yahveh Comas-Torres joined FTMR as a Technical Specialist on February 2007. Mr. Comas assists in the drafting of patent applications and in conducting prior art searches. He also assists in the review of documents and patent literature as well as in patent opinion work.

Mr. Comas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico with a major in controls and power. He is a certified engineer in training (EIT).

Prior to joining FTMR Mr. Comas was a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office where he examined patent applications in the field of electrical engineering particularly in the art of motor and generator structure such as pumps, spindle motors, turbines, alternators, engines, etc., particularly in connection with motor structure and controls.
