COMMERCIAL LENDINGHaving worked with clients on both sides of a commercial financing transaction: lenders and borrowers, FTMR, as borrower’s counsel, is provides in-depth and professional advice in a variety of commercial lending and financing transactions with some of Puerto Rico’s premier commercial banking concerns.  From the preparation and revision of loan agreements and collateral documents to the processing of title insurance and loan closing and document presentation, FTMR represents both emerging companies and individuals.

The nature of commercial loan transactions in which the firm has been involved extends to the full scope of commercial credits, including term and revolving credit loans, secured and unsecured loans, working capital and acquisition loans, asset-based loans, corporate or cash flow loans, project finance loans, loan sales and participations, and letter of credit and other credit and liquidity support mechanisms. While much of the firm’s commercial lending work involves real property security, our attorneys are equally experienced with loans based on other types of security interests.
