Our Summer Program offers first and second year law school students the opportunity to relate very closely to the life of the associate attorney. Our goal is to expose Summer Associates to the whole array of work situations that attorneys encounter from day to day. Typically, Summer Associates are provided the opportunity to work within diverse areas of practice, which include: Corporate & Real Estate, Taxes, Labor and Employment, Intellectual Property & Information Technology, Commercial and Intellectual Property Litigation, among others. In addition, our program also includes in-house seminars, conferences and social events, as well as possible interaction with clients and government representatives.
The Summer Program has become one of the main sources of our firm’s recruiting system for new associate attorneys. It gives our firm an opportunity to evaluate young talent for possible future hiring, while providing the Summer Associates with a unique, professional development experience.
Our Summer Associates will receive feedback by supervising attorneys at the end of each assignment, and will also take part in a more detailed evaluation during his/her exit interview.
Recruiting for Summer Associates takes place during the months of September through December. No application will be accepted after December 31.
